So I wanted to provide a follow-up to my Vinneta experience. I decided to follow the advice of @fullbass and give the Vinneta a full 3 day burn-in. WOW. He wasn’t kidding. These changed drastically.. more than I’ve ever heard any headphone change perhaps. I really liked and enjoyed the Vinneta out of the box but it’s a different animal after an additional 72 hours of music on it.
In a nutshell – if you are someone who enjoys a vinyl / analog sound.. the Vinneta is the holy grail. There is a softness to the presentation, texturing, and delivery that produces the most analog / vinyl sound I’ve ever heard. This has the speed of a planar but the big dynamic bass of a traditional dynamic headphone (at least as good as the JM Audio XTC2 for example). The level of detail & technicality is incredibly high.. Again.. ZMF Atrium/Caldera levels of detail and technicalities. Something I notice with the Vinneta is how “saturated” the sound comes through. It’s just full, immersive, and really saturates the sound field as it hits your ear drums. It’s an interesting experience..
