Kennerton Rognir, Limited First Edition Planar Magnetic Headphones

Based in St. Petersburg, Russia, headphone company Kennerton is continuing to garner more popularity for their high-end headphones as they further expand their reach and availability. I’m getting closer to having tried their entire product line now, having listened to the Magni, Vali, Gjallarhorn, Wodan, Thekk, and Thror.

Kennerton Vali Review

We’ve had the honor of reviewing quite a few of Kennerton’s products here at Major HiFi lately. Their Vali model was an exciting new experience for me to take on as Kennerton cites it as one of their most popular models. This open back headphone runs for $1,079, putting it in the middle of Kennerton’s price range. I’ve […]

Kennerton Thror Review

Now here we are taking a look at the Kennerton Thror, one of their esteemed open-back headphones with an awesome name. Knowing how things went with the Gjallarhorn, how much does the open-back principle of the Thror expand on the GH50’s excellence in soundstage and imaging?

Kennerton Gjallarhorn GH 50 JM Edition Review

A boutique offshoot of Fisher Audio, Kennerton claims their mission is to put the focus back on audio quality in an industry they feel increasingly values style over fidelity. Their quickly growing line of headphones hail from St. Petersburg, Russia and are gaining further traction as their overseas availability further expands. They recently released the JM edition […]

Kennerton Gjallarhorn GH 50 JM Review

It is time to introduce a new brand to MajorHiFi. The start of 2021 has brought us a slew of new items from a couple of well-known manufacturers that aim to make an immediate impression to kick off the year. This leaves some not as established brands to fall under the radar, which is a shame considering […]

Kennerton Wodan Review

Looking at the Wodan’s price (€2.220) and place in the line-up, it’s only Kennerton’s fourth highest model after Thror, Thek, and Odin. Wodan is an open back headphone. Just like the other models, Wodan doesn’t have a single dedicated web page on the Kennerton site, but they split up the Wodan pages depending on the […]
